Ramsay was born on 6/20/2023 in Scotland and traveled to the US in Sept 2023. She is anticipated to be a great addition to our program. Both of her parents have excellent conformation and actively work in the field. She also has both field trial winners and field trial champion's on both sides of her pedigree.
Ramsay has a sweet, gentle temperament, loves to retrieve and her obedience and trainability are top-notch. She has already been on a couple of hunting trips and shows incredible instincts and drive. She copies everything her older sister Finley is doing!
She is right on targe with her DNA results and is ~58lbs & stands 22.5" at the withers. She has lighter red coat (intermediate red) that is classified as a light shedder (MC5R - TT). Her coat continues to darken. She is clear of all Golden Genetic conditions that embark tests for and is also clear of ICH 2 (Pawprint Genetics) which means we will have a lot of flexibility when selecting a mate.
Ramsay joined her older sisters River and Goose in training on January 10, 2024 where she has trained for hunt tests. She earned her HR Title on 5/4/2025. She is scheduled to be bred this summer and will jump back in to earn her MH & HRCH titles once her puppies are weaned and she is cleared to train. Following that, she will work on Therapy & Service dog titles & certifications.
